Content: Macromolecules
Monosaccharides: Any of tha class of sugars that cannot be hydrolyzed to give a simpler sugar. Monosaccharides are the primary energy source.
Polysaccharides: A carbohydrate whose molecules consist of a number of sugar moleculres bonded together. they act as energy storage.
Carbohydrates: A carbohydrates are molecular compounds made out of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen.
Lipids: Lipids are a group of molecules that include fats, oils and steroids.
Proteins: A protein is a molecule composed of polymers and amini acids joined together by peptide bonds.
Nucleic Acids: Nucleic acids consist of either one or two long chains of repeating units called nucleotides, which consist of a nitrogen base (a purine or pyrimidine) attached to a sugar phosphate. The two main nucleic acids are DNA and RNA.

Reflections
This lab took a lot of time but I believe that it was worth it. We learned a lot about the macromolecules and it was cool to test teh cheese for the different kinds of macromolecules. Our group worked great together because we all got along and listened to what everyone had to say. I was much more of a leader in this project and was very productive. I could work on my empathy with my group mates a little bit. In the end I lerned much more than I knew before about how to make cheese and everthing that makes up food and gives us energy.
